When the waves are too rough to surf, staying in shape is key. Here are some tips:
Pool paddling: Swim or train with a surfboard to strengthen shoulders and endurance.
Functional & HIIT workouts: Burpees, squats, and jumps keep your power and stamina up.
Strength & balance: Squats, planks, push-ups, and balance training (Bosu Ball, Indo Board) improve stability.
Breath training & apnea: Techniques like Wim Hof boost lung capacity and ocean endurance.
If you can't surf, train on land and come back even stronger!
